WOW I can’t believe it has been just about a year since I have wrote in here. I have been so busy with life that I have not been on here much.
Where to start…… We had a long winter of lots of snow that is for sure. There was so much that we could not go ice fishing b/c you could not get on the ice. That did not break my heart lol. Our business is doing great too, so that kept us busy and we were not busy with that Tom was making things. He made me a beautiful walking stick and made some decorations for Christmas. He is re doing our house a little at time. The bathroom is finished now and the living room is just about done. He has a lot of work in the kitchen. I want the cupboards tore out and the whole kitchen redone. We are adding an addition hopefully the fall depending on how busy work is. Plus since he is legal we are going to build a grow room. He just did one for a client which is really cool. If he is not busy with our business he works for the union as a Master Electrician.
Everything is still new for me here so the winter we went to a snow mobile festival which was fun. The ones the race are full with methane or something like that and do they ever move but when they catch on fire they are toast just as fast. So when we were not snow bound and working we went to diff places to look around.
We went to BC to visit Nikita the spring for my birthday which was a great time. We flew to Seattle so we could stop and see some friends there and then drove the rest of the way to BC. It was nice b/c Tom has never seen around that area before. We spent 2 weeks which never seems long enough when it was time to go. It was so great to see Nikita and spend some time with her. She is getting to be so grown up.
We started our garden in our house and made our spare room into a greenhouse in Feb so that we could have the starter plants moved to the green house in end of march. The garden is not doing as good as last year but it has been a weird year for weather plus we have been gone a lot this summer and not paying as much attention to it as it should have had.
The nice thing about living right on the lake is that when you are done work you can go and jump right in and relax especially since it has been so hot out this year. That is where you can find us. We are on the river tubing or at the lake relaxing on the tubes or playing with the jet-ski or going for a ride in the boat.
We still do our date night every Sat night or sometimes Friday night. It is great to be in love. I am so lucky to have a hubby that loves me as much as he does. He tells me at least 3 times a day that he loves me. Even when he is at work he calls to tell me. It is so nice to have someone treat you like you are a queen all the time. Don’t get me wrong we do argue, it would not be good relationship if you didn’t lol. We even renewed our vows this summer. Nikita was going to come up for it but she could not make it so tom’s best friend and wife stood up for us.
I can’t believe it is 6 years since I joined VR, so many changes. I am still trying to figure some out since I have been off for so long. I have been so busy that I was here only once a month to check on things. But now since Tom is going to be working for the union for a bit I will be here more often and try to check in at least 2 times a day. We used to have a great active Coven but things have slowed down and I can’t say anything b/c I was the most inactive member out of everyone lol. I will work on getting it back up and lively again. I missed everyone a lot and did not realize how much till I came back on and started chatting to everyone again. I am so glad Tom likes VR and that part of my life so I can enjoy it and not have to worry about it. Even though he is a red neck he knows how much being Wiccan means to me and respects it and is even learning about it.
Ok I think I am done babbling for now. That is the most of what I have been up to for the past year. I will have pics up today or tomorrow. Basically I have been enjoying life with a great husband and have a fantastic life.
Oh yes I cannot forget our baby…..Trupa our puppy is 2 now and is adorable. She is a shitzu but thinks she is a big huge hunting dog. She goes hunting and loves to chase turkeys and deer. She chases squirrels all day long and loves to go swimming. Everyone thinks it is so cute to see her jump off the boat and go swimming or thinks she looks so cute sitting on the front of the jet- ski going for a ride.
